I’ve been touring with other artists quite a bit recently and, as fun as it is, it’s made me REALLY keen to do O+S shows. Performing with Orenda - playing our songs - is such a joy. I plan to get my fill of it this next year!! (S)
SOME VENUES ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS!
Playing the Montalvo Arts Center in Saratoga, CA tonight. Couldn’t be more different than the last venue I played on a middle eastern military base! Music takes you to some interesting places, my friends. I’d like to set up a little mobile unit and record even just the smallest bit in all these disparate places. A beat or melody or little sonic construction from each environment I find myself in, which might then find their ways into new O+S songs. Sort of continues what we did with the Haitian sounds on the last album, but from many different locations instead. Hmmm… (S)
