THE WHIP HAS BEEN CRACKED!

Orenda rang up the other night and basically set fire under the ass of the next record.  So the official deadline to have the songs done is now Halloween 2011!

 Jeffrey Cain is on board to help concoct the tracks,  and we’ll be building on top of beats and samples left behind by the inimitable Gregory Slay.  Those parameters alone guarantee that magic will be within reach.  And if I can get Michael Patterson involved I’ll be living the dream.

Just saw the Tim Burton exhibit at the LACMA. Very inspiring. Couldn’t help but think how much Mr Gregory Slay would’ve enjoyed it. And I hope Orenda, Todd and Laura Bell Thacker-Thacker get to see it some time. Right up their streets!
