ABOUT O+S

O+S is a new project by Orenda Fink (Azure Ray, Art In Manila) and Scalpelist (aka Cedric LeMoyne of Remy Zero). Orenda and Scalpelist, long-time friends from their shared hometown of Birmingham, Alabama, have created a record that combines the haunting, ethereal music of a David Lynch soundtrack with the cinematic art-pop of 10cc. With the elemental & adventurous production of Michael Patterson (Beck, Notorious B.I.G., Black Rebel Motorcycle Club), O+S delivers a unique sound that is more than just a sum of its parts. Their debut album on Saddle Creek Records is available now!
Hello Orenda and Cedric (or whoever checks this)…
I was wandering around on myspace, and I found your group…
I play drums for an alternative band in Nashville called Graylit. We are planning a benefit tour for the beginning of 2010, raising awareness and funds for local literacy initiatives.
We are trying to fill 1000-seat rooms within each city we play… partnering up with local media outlets and performing artists, within that given city, to make that show a success.
Would you be interested in working together?? If so, in what cities would you draw a crowd?
Thanks a lot!

I just came across this website! What a great combination–a member of Azure Ray and the bassist of Remy Zero =) Can’t wait to get my hands on a copy. Sorry that I had heard about you guys due to the death of Gregory Slay.
“I saw what I wanted to, you did what you needed to.” – o+s,
inspired words
“Lonely Ghosts” was poignant and beautiful. Is there any chance I could get the arrangement / tabs or even just the chord progression?
In any case, thanks for what you do.
